Food Flags

October 2009 sees the Sydney International Food Festival take place.  The festival is a celebration of food from all over the world. To advertise the event WHYBIN/TBWA in Sydney came up with a way of cleverly showcasing each countries famous food.

As you can see the agency has related the countries food with its flag for example Italy’s flag is made with basil, spaghetti and tomatoes, common Italian ingredients. This is an excellent way to get the audience to recongnise which foods come from which countries and will hopefully inspire them to try new foods.
